At VP Saint Louis, we believe in the power of community and the impact that small acts of kindness can have on people's lives. In light of the challenging times brought on by the pandemic, we made a conscious decision to redirect a portion of the funds earmarked for America's Birthday Parade towards a cause that would directly benefit our community. This led us to collaborate with Beyond Housing Programs, an organization dedicated to supporting families in need.

Through our partnership with Beyond Housing Programs, we were able to make a tangible difference in the lives of more than 300 families. We utilized the funds to purchase meat and produce, ensuring that these families had access to nutritious meals during these trying times. Our commitment to the well-being of our community members propelled us to take action, and we are proud to have been able to extend a helping hand when it was needed the most.

For four consecutive weeks, our dedicated volunteers came together at the Pagedale Family Center. This facility served as a hub of compassion and care, where our team sorted and organized the groceries. We understood the importance of ensuring that each family received the items they needed, so our volunteers worked tirelessly to make this happen. Their efforts were driven by the understanding that these groceries were not just items on a shelf; they were a lifeline to families who had been deeply affected by the pandemic's repercussions.

Once the groceries were sorted, our team of compassionate volunteers went the extra mile and personally delivered them to the families. We recognized that these families were among the hardest hit by the ongoing crisis, and we wanted to ensure that they not only received the essential supplies but also felt the support of their community.
